So without further ado here’s some thoughts and general teases about what’s to come on Into the Badlands.Īfter that awful fight with Tilda last season, the Widow finds herself deep in a war against Baron Chau for the Badlands, but without the person she used to count on for so much. The episodes are a treat and we’d hate to steal any of the true experience of watching them from you. As always, these are more general teases and no spoilers. We’ve been lucky enough here at The TV Junkies to see the first two episodes of Season 3 and thought it only right if we shared some of that good fortune. There’s also the matter of the appearance of a new mysterious leader called Pilgrim (Babou Ceesay) who arrives in the Badlands on a mission of his own to restore Azra. Elsewhere, the Widow (Emily Beecham) is at war with Baron Chau and no longer has the support of Tilda (Ally Ioannides) or Waldo (Stephen Lang). The new season will find Sunny (Daniel Wu) doing his best to provide for his infant son, Henry, while they live off the grid and he deals with Veil’s (Madeleine Mantock) death. That’s great news for any young Butterfly! On top of that, the martial arts drama is set to deliver a super-sized season of 16 all new episodes.
